  • Job Description
  • Join us as IT Access Engineer and help implement, automate, secure and improve our access management solution for Nuage - Sika’s global custom-built R&D data platform!
  • In this role you will be part of a fast-growing Global R&D Digitalization team, transforming how our global R&D function develops and working on wide range of topics - from using traditional data science techniques to optimising operational efficiency along with state-of-the-art AI solutions to identify novel construction materials.
  • This role is designed for remote working with occassional trips to Welwyn Garden City.

Your main tasks will be

  • Automate and streamline communication between cloud and on-prem systems.
  • Manage, test and debug user access groups.
  • Identify and fix security vulnerabilities in the access setup.
  • Qualifications
  • Higher education or proven track record of relevant working experience
  • 2+ years of working experience with production software in the role of Software Engineer, Software Architect, Data Engineer, Data Scientist or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of Python and Java
  • Strong understanding of data security principles
  • Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs
  • Good knowledge in least one of: Microsoft Azure, ITIL, agile work practices and/or web platform management
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent capacity to prioritise work
  • Preferred
  • HTML/JS knowledge
  • RAG and Jira/Confluence knowledge
