What you'll do To define and shape Commercial Strategy for Vodafone's IoT customers: Deliver complex deal commercial strategy and propositions for Vodafone's Global Strategic accounts Attend Key Customer meetings and workshops and co-create commercial propositions with customers that will address their needs and maximise the value Vodafone can extract from them. This includes reactive responses to formal RfQ's as well as proactive engagement with customers on long term strategic initiatives where a consultative approach is required. Influence and drive the Line of Business Commercial Enablement team (Strategy, Cost Optimisation and Expansion) and Vodafone Roaming Services (VRS) to ensure optimal technical solutions and cost base are in place to support customer requirements Develop negotiation strategies using industry best-practice. Leading negotiations to achieve the best possible outcomes for Vodafone Manage relationship with key (internal) Senior Stakeholders especially Regional Heads of Sales and Direct Reports of Vodafone Business CEO Continuous improvement, standardisation and harmonisation of processes, tools, and templates within IoT and with other key stakeholders. Improving and enhancing the internal stakeholder and external customer experience via assistance in the delivery of bespoke solutions tailored to customer expectation, whilst fulfilling Vodafone profitability measures and targets. Key Accountabilities: Commercial Business Case generation for Customer opportunities and new initiatives including risk analysis and mitigation. Leading sales and customer focused commercial activities to deliver profitable growth for IoT, while proactively managing Vodafone's commercial riskDrive key strategic initiatives through Vodafone and support Sales and customer contacts to drive through their organisations. Manage relationship with key stakeholders, ensuring that all proposals and propositions are taken through and approved by the relevant governance authorities. There will be significant internal D level stakeholder engagement. Who you are You will be a self-starter, able to plan, strong organiser and effective communicator. You will ideally have knowledge and experience of using strategic approach to solving complex problems and creating commercial models that meet the needs of customers and Vodafone. You must be comfortable operating in ambiguous situations, often when in front of customers, and have the ability to translate complex topics into a clear vision that obtains stakeholders buy-in. Essential: Deep understanding of IoT Industry including Global competitive landscape Experience of leading and influencing virtual teams. Experience of delivering Complex IoT Bid Opportunities Proven Business Development skills Strong Communication & Stakeholder Management up to C level Proven Commercial and Finance acumen Solid experience in Commercial, Sales or Operations, leading teams in the delivery of complex, global projects Desirable: Experience of working on multi-tower deals across IoT, Cloud and traditional Fixed and Mobile solutions Understanding of Automotive Industry including R&D and associated procurement strategies Experience in Business Development via Indirect Sales channels Understanding of Vodafone Global Business and how Vodafone engages with Partner Networks Experience with defining and enabling Consumer/B2C and B2B2C propositions Not a perfect fit?
