Our client are looking for an Investment Analytics Data Specialist to join the UK Wealth Management business on a 12-14-month contract. This role sits within the Investment Analytics function, which plays a vital role in monitoring investment risk, maintaining performance records, and delivering quantitative insights that directly inform investment decisions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with complex financial data, is highly numerate, and wants to apply modern analytical tools and techniques to real-world investment challenges. What you’ll do Produce regular portfolio analytics, from official performance records to forward-looking risk estimatesDeliver monthly reporting to the Investment Oversight Committee, covering risk budgeting, stress testing, factor exposures, and performance.Analyse large and complex financial datasets to identify patterns and insights.Work with Bloomberg PORT Enterprise to generate and batch portfolio analytics reports.Help automate data collection and reporting processes using Python or R.Communicate risk and performance insights clearly to senior management, client advisers, and portfolio managers.Ensure reporting and analytics are aligned with industry best practices.Support ad hoc requests for data and analysis, including RFPs and client materials. What they're looking for Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data.Previous experience in investment performance or risk (preferred).Strong interest in financial markets, investing, and data science.A degree in mathematics, finance, economics, or data science.Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (essential).Programming skills in Python or R (preferred).
