Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Professional Regulator in their search for a permanent Investigations Manager. This is a senior operational leadership role with responsibility for overseeing complex regulatory casework, leading a specialist team, and ensuring the effective delivery of investigation and adjudication processes.In this role, you will lead and manage a team of five, including investigators, caseworkers and a scheduling officer, providing clear leadership, oversight and direction across the Fitness to Practise function. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, timely and proportionate handling of cases, from investigation through to adjudication and hearings, while maintaining strong performance management, governance and quality assurance standards.The role is primarily operational, with a strong focus on business-as-usual delivery, but also requires strategic leadership to drive continuous improvement, embed best practice and support the development of the wider FtP framework. You will work closely with senior colleagues to ensure effective case progression, robust decision-making, and clear reporting on performance, risks and outcomes.The successful candidate will bring significant experience in Fitness to Practise or regulatory investigations, with a strong understanding of adjudication and hearings processes.
