Utilise your relationship skills to engage with key internal and external stakeholders to increase the University’s sponsored student intake Base Salary $146,197 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity Our Sydney Future Students – International team is in a period of exciting and significant alignment towards the University’s student recruitment and strategic plans. The team is seeking a strategic and consultative International Development and Sponsorships Manager to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for developing strategies to strengthen and support the working relationships with international sponsored students and their related sponsorship bodies and managing the contractual agreement with DFAT and global sponsorship agencies. This position will see you formally represent The University locally, interstate and overseas and at times may require you to travel to international sponsorships events to deliver program objectives. This will include organising and managing events such as sponsor student orientation, completion ceremonies, and pre-university programs which will enhance the overall student experience and enable The University to maintain high satisfaction levels. Your key responsibilities will be to: lead effective and efficient management of the University's International Sponsorship's portfolio, including the provision of high-quality customer service, and management and oversight of human resources, processes, operational budget, and systems develop and implement internal policies and processes to perform operational tasks, in order to ensure optimum efficiency and continuous improvement in the provision of services to both key internal and external stakeholders undertake day-to-day management responsibility of the team, ensuring consistent high-quality client service provision to students, faculties, and Sponsors develop and implement recruitment strategies aimed at increasing the number and quality of international sponsored students enrolling at the University of Sydney provide briefing notes and management reports on International Sponsorship's to the Head of International Partnerships and Development and senior University staff collate statistical data and provide enrollment analysis for the International Student Recruitment Regional Managers aimed to influence sponsored students recruitment in particular markets. About you experience in educational scholarships and sponsorships and working and developing and implementing recruitment strategies to increase the number and quality of international sponsored students enrolling at the University experience in management, leadership, and staff supervision in the international education sector high level interpersonal communication skills with skills in cross-cultural communication. successful management of a high performing team of professionals within a complex, multifaceted organisation tact and professionalism in negotiation with stakeholders or clients, government bodies when handling complex enquiries experience in recruiting students (both face-to-face and virtually) but not limited to managing and running events and seminars to attract students and engage with students throughout their student lifecycle excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience presenting to groups, facilitating workshops and chairing meetings capability in working flexibly, adapting to changing circumstances and environments and, when necessary, navigating through ambiguity capability in managing competing deadlines across a diversified stakeholder base. Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
