- This is a hands-on, travel-heavy, high-impact role for someone who blends strategic thinking with in-market execution - equal parts coach, commercial operator, and growth driver.
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and nurture strong relationships with distributors across assigned international markets.
- Partner with distributors to build and execute annual business plans, sales targets, and promotional strategies.
- Evaluate distributor capabilities, market approach, and overall performance; identify gaps and recommend clear, actionable improvements.
- Provide engaging training and educational sessions to retailers, distributors, and key accounts on product features, benefits, and effective selling strategies.
- Develop or adapt training materials, tools, and presentations to support product knowledge and sales excellence across different markets.
- Conduct regular visits to retail stores to support sales staff, improve product presentation, and enhance in-store execution.
- Ensure brand standards, merchandising guidelines, and promotional activities are consistently implemented at point of sale.
- Monitor competitor activity, category dynamics, and market trends to inform strategy and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Deliver structured weekly reports and performance updates to the Head of International, including market insights, key metrics, challenges, and recommended actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Product) to ensure distributors receive the tools, materials, and support needed to succeed.
- Provide market feedback to internal stakeholders to support product development, pricing, and positioning decisions.
- Represent the brand at distributor meetings, key account reviews, trade shows, and training events as required.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring our values, identity, and standards are consistently communicated across all markets.
- Work within defined pricing, discounting, and deal-structure guidelines to balance growth and profitability.
- Provide structured feedback from the field to inform product development, marketing campaigns, and channel strategy.
Use Salesforce as the system of record to
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
- Develop target lists, profile customers, plan key activities, and track progress through the funnel.
- Report accurately on pipeline health, forecast, and performance.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing accounts, continuously seeking new opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and program expansion.
- Identify target accounts, define timeline plans, while consistently hitting quarterly and annual sales targets
- Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of sales and key account management experience, with a demonstrable track record of success in B2B environments.
- Proven experience in international sales, account management, or distributor management, ideally within consumer goods, retail, or a related sector.
- Demonstrated ability to train, educate, and influence diverse audiences in both formal and informal settings.
- Strong track record of building and managing distributor or key account relationships across multiple markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, both in person and virtually.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple markets, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable with frequent travel across the assigned territory EMEA up to 50% ; must hold a valid passport.
- Proficient in MS Office/Google Suite, Salesforce (e.g., presentations, spreadsheets, reporting tools).
- Fluency in English required; additional languages relevant to EMEA a plus
