- Job Description
- The International Business Advisor will support our Master Franchise partners in Europe (and other assigned territories) to help them grow their franchise companies within their respective territories. The role will be a combination of face-to-face and remote support for these partners in all aspects of running a franchise company.
- Act as the primary franchisor representative and relationship owner for Master Franchisees across Europe, building strong, trusted, and commercially focused partnerships.
- Serve as the first point of contact for European Master Franchisees on matters relating to franchise growth, development, and performance, with a particular focus on sub‑unit franchise sales.
- Coach, support, and enable Master Franchisees to effectively recruit, qualify, and convert sub‑unit franchise candidates, improving both the quality and volume of franchise sales.
- Participate, as required, in Discovery Days and franchise candidate tours, supporting Masters and ensuring the franchisor’s standards, messaging, and expectations are consistently represented.
- Attend and support franchise expos and trade shows in Europe (and other regions as required), coaching Master Franchisees on best‑practice exhibition execution, lead handling, and follow‑up processes.
Provide operational and commercial advisory support to Master Franchisees, including guidance on
- Key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial performance
- Franchisee profitability and unit economics
- Structuring and scaling local support teams
- Managing franchisee issues, disputes, and escalations
- Application and enforcement of franchise systems and standards
- Actively set expectations and enforce franchisor guidelines, policies, and operational standards, escalating issues where necessary in line with franchisor governance.
- Monitor and support royalty collection and financial reporting from Master Franchisees, ensuring timely reporting, transparency, and compliance with franchise agreements.
- Identify and support growth opportunities within each territory, including network expansion, performance improvement initiatives, and capability uplift of Master Franchisees.
- Work collaboratively with members of the Global Department and with brand‑level leadership teams to ensure alignment between regional activity and global brand objectives.
- Encourage and drive Master Franchisee engagement in franchisor‑led initiatives, including attendance and participation in events such as Master Summits, conferences, and strategic meetings.
- Travel extensively across Europe (and occasionally Africa, the Middle East, and the United States) to support Master Franchisees, attend events, and engage with global leadership.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A., B.B.A., or B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or Associate's degree (A. A. or A.S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluency in English is mandatory for this role, other languages spoken are an advantage.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, Customer Relationship Management systems, and scheduling software.
- Strong background in franchise sector with knowledge of growing franchise companies.
- Sales and franchise business operations and legal experience.
- Must be willing to travel regularly with a valid passport as needed for visits to Master Franchise partners, Tradeshows, Regional Meetings, Conferences and other meetings as assigned.
