You will bring structure, pace and discipline to the day-to-day finance function, while also improving processes and tightening up working capital.Ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and leaving things better than they found them.What you’ll be doingTransactional Finance OwnershipRunning end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableManaging employee expenses and corporate card processesOwning cash application and timely bank reconciliationsHandling supplier and customer queries and resolving issues quicklyIdentifying risks across AP/AR and putting mitigations in placeControls, Compliance and Audit SupportEnsuring processes are documented, controlled and operating effectivelySupporting audit readiness through clean reconciliations and evidenceProactively addressing fraud, compliance and control gapsReporting and Working Capital FocusProducing weekly AP and AR reporting with clear commentaryMonitoring overdue trends, DSO and DPO performanceSupporting short-term cashflow forecasting with senior financeSystems and Data AccuracyMaintaining clean supplier and customer data in the ERPReviewing credit terms and improving working capital where possibleEnsuring consistency across finance
