They are looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Interim Payroll Specialist to hit the ground running in supporting the delivery, testing and continuous improvement of payroll processes across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a hands-on payroll specialist, providing detailed operational support rather than high-level oversightSupport and advise payroll supervisors as needed across payroll processing and compliance-related projectsTake ownership of tasks as they arise, often at short notice, and see them through to completionQuinyx testing, working closely with the payroll team.Benifex Retail launch project, including support and testingAd hoc payroll support, including:Annual pay review implementation.Bonus payments and reconciliation.Tax year-end activities (25/26), including P11Ds and P60sSupporting internal and external audit testingSupporting Benifex submissions for Head OfficeResponding to unknown and evolving ad hoc payroll requirements as they ariseAbout YouProven experience in a payroll specialist or senior payroll role, ideally within retail or a complex, fast-paced environmentHighly detail-oriented with a strong understanding of UK payroll processes and complianceComfortable juggling multiple priorities and responding to last-minute or unexpected requestsProactive, resilient and solutions-focused - happy to help on any adhoc tasks asked of them.Confident working collaboratively with payroll teams, HR, finance and external providers
