Management Accountant 3-6month interim assignment Location: South Manchester Day Rate: 250 upwards A well-established, international organisation within the medical technology/manufacturing sector is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its UK finance team. This is a broad, hands-on role with ownership of the monthly management accounts and strong exposure to balance sheet control, reporting, and process improvement. The position suits someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, adding value beyond the numbers, and partnering closely with colleagues across finance. Key Responsibilities: Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations Production of monthly management accounts, including P&L analysis and commentary Posting accruals, prepayments, and payroll journals Completion of monthly commentary files and quarterly reporting packs Bank reconciliations and maintenance of robust financial controls Supporting statutory accounts preparation and liaising with external auditors Identifying and implementing process and control improvements Ad hoc finance support as required by the business Candidate Profile 2-5 years' experience in a Management Accounting role Strong Excel capability Experience within a structured or regulated environment advantageous Proactive, detail-focused, and comfortable working to deadlines Collaborative team player with a positive, inquisitive mindset Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
