We are seeking an experienced Interim Group Financial Accountant to support a large group of companies during a significant time of growth. This role will play a critical part in delivering accurate and timely group reporting, statutory accounts, and financial consolidation alongside the senior management team while they work through multiple adhoc projects.The role will be offered on Key Responsibilities as Group Financial Accountant include: -Preparation and delivery of monthly group management accounts and consolidated reportingSupport the production of statutory accounts in line with relevant accounting standardsManage group consolidations, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminationsAssist with year-end and audit processes, acting as a key point of contact for auditorsEnsure consistency of financial reporting across group entitiesProvide technical accounting support and insight to the wider finance teamAssist the wider finance team with day-to-day supervision if requiredWork closely with internal stakeholders to manage tight deadlines around projectsAssist where required with management account reporting alongside the team to provide timely Support improvements to group reporting processes and controlsThe successful candidate will need to have the following attributes: -Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)Proven experience in group reporting and consolidationsStrong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detailComfortable working in a fast-paced environment and working to tight deadlinesExcellent Excel skills and experience with consolidation/reporting systems
