Global Accounting Network are partnering with an entertainment client who are looking for an Interim Group Financial Accountant to join them on an initial 6-month contract. This position will focus on managing group financial control, treasury management, financial reporting across multiple entities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.Main Responsibilities:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reports across multiple entities. Perform G/L entries, including accruals, prepayments and adjustments.Produce consolidated management accounts and reporting packs for board review.Lead month-end and support year-end processes.Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).Prepare documentation for audits and liaise with external auditors when needed.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting and financial systems.Identify and deliver improvements to financial processes and controls.Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring payments are made on time.Ideal CandidateFully qualified accountant with at least 6 months PQE.Prior consolidation experience.Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting principles.Experience with financial systems.Sector experience is a plus but not a must.
