Do you run a tight ship when it comes to money in and money out? Can you keep a busy finance operations team organised, accurate, and on track? Are you ready to step in quickly and keep things moving while a permanent hire is made? A respected housing provider is seeking an Interim Finance Operations Manager to oversee their core transactional finance functions for a 3-6 month period — including accounts payable, receivable, VAT, and payroll. You’ll lead a team of five, ensuring all processes run smoothly, deadlines are met, and controls remain strong during a period of transition. Key responsibilities include: Managing day-to-day finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, VAT, and payment processingLeading and supporting a team of five, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and team cohesionOverseeing reconciliations, cash management, and the end-to-end payment cycleMaintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and audit standardsWorking closely with senior colleagues in Finance and Operations to maintain business-as-usual service levels during the interim period This is a hands-on, fast-moving role for someone who enjoys leading people and bringing structure to busy transactional teams. You’ll find a supportive finance department with good systems and long-standing team members — the priority is simply to steady the ship and keep everything running efficiently while a permanent appointment is made.
