Your new roleAs Director of Legal & Company Secretary, you will lead the legal and governance functions, ensuring robust frameworks and compliance across the organisation. Key responsibilities include: Delivering expert legal counsel across commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters.Supporting the Board and Committees with governance and documentation.Overseeing data protection and GDPR compliance.Managing insurance portfolios and relationships with regulators and external counsel.Leading and mentoring a high-performing legal and governance team. What you'll need to succeed Significant PQE in commercial law, ideally in financial services or regulated sectors.Proven Company Secretary experience supporting Boards and Committees.Strong knowledge of data protection and GDPR compliance.Experience managing insurance portfolios and compliance functions.Qualified Solicitor and ICSA/CGI qualification would be advantageous.Exceptional communication skills and high professional integrity.
