We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Analyst to conduct prior art and patentability searches in the healthcare AI sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patent laws and experience in analyzing complex technical documents. This is a part-time, one-time project requiring intermediate expertise. The patent in question involves healthcare technologies and machine learning models, so familiarity with both domains is essential. Scope of Work: - Conduct a thorough prior art search across all major intellectual property databases. - Perform a patentability analysis based on the drafted patent. - Carry out invalidation and validity searches. - Execute an infringement search and analysis, including: - Patent literature - Non-patent literature (e.g., academic papers, technical documentation) Important Notes: - If you use AI tools in your search methodology, please clearly describe your approach and specify the tools you intend to use. - The client has already obtained AI-generated search results and found them lacking—several key references were missed. Therefore, AI-only approaches will not be sufficient. - We need a methodologically sound and human-led analysis, possibly supported by AI but not reliant on it. Deliverables: - A detailed report outlining findings from each search category. - Clear explanation of methodology used. - Recommendations based on the analysis.
