If so, join our Dogs team as a full time Intake and Assessment Officer providing daily animal care and support to the pets in our care.In this full time permanent position, you will be working alongside other Intake and Assessment Officers, Pet Matching Officers and Dog Care Specialists to provide the best care to our dogs and prepare them for new homes. You will have the chance to make a real difference and contribute to overall rehoming outcomes.In addition, you will;Conduct on-going assessments of dogs to get them ready for fostering and/or rehomingAssist in the rehoming and matching of dogs as necessaryEnsure all health and safety standards are maintained for yourself and colleaguesProvide stimulating environments and activities for the pets in our care to promote physical and mental well-beingTrain and support volunteers to enhance dog welfare and operationsOur ideal candidate should be able to implement learnt dog behaviour, have a knowledge of animal health and a thorough understanding of how to provide excellent customer service as well as good record keeping skills.
