The successful candidate must demonstrate a solid understanding of policy wordings, regulatory requirements, and negotiation tactics in handling commercial insurance claims. Insurance Claims Handler – Key dutiesAs a Claims Handler, you will play a key role in supporting our clients through the claims journey, ensuring fair outcomes and excellent service. You will manage a varied caseload across multiple lines of business, with an emphasis on agricultural and rural-related claims alongside wider commercial and personal lines.Claims Handling & Technical WorkManage claims across a variety of classes, including Motor/Fleet, Property, Employers’/Public Liability, Goods in Transit, and Agricultural risks.Handle both delegated authority (DA) and non-delegated claims within agreed limits, escalating where required.Maintain accurate and compliant records across claims systems and diaries.Negotiation & ResolutionClient Service & CommunicationProvide clear, professional, and efficient advice to clients on claims and settlements.Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring they understand their policy terms and the progress of their claims.Negotiate with insurers, loss adjusters, and suppliers to secure the best outcomes for clients.Build strong relationships with brokers, insurers, and supply chain partners to
