We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer for Mobile Device Services to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

• In-depth knowledge of mobile operating systems (Apple iOS and Android). Skilled in troubleshooting complex issues regarding configuration and policies on mobile devices.
• Experience in mobile device management principles using Workspace One or Airwatch.
• Working experience of Samsung Knox services including Knox Mobile Enrolment, E-Fota and Knox Service Plugin.
• An understanding of Microsoft 365 device configuration and Intune device management principles and services.
• Experience of troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis and demonstrate working knowledge of change, incident and problem management principles working within the ITIL framework.
• The ability to clearly communicate technical detail to internal and external stakeholders effectively.

You'll be working on the tools and platforms that keep our colleagues connected and secure, whether they're in the office, at home or on the move. From managing devices and deploying apps to supporting cloud hosting and BYOD, you'll be right at the heart of our mobile transformation.

Expect to get hands-on with exciting projects like migrating to Workspace ONE SaaS, rolling out Office 365 on mobile and building on demand VPN solutions. You'll collaborate with engineers, architects and product teams to keep improving our services, always with the user in mind.

Location: You'll join us in our brilliant digital hub in Manchester, right in the heart of the city centre, easily accessible by tram, bus or rail.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £52,442.

Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth over £12,000 per year.

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.

You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
