MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • * 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales,
  • business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an
  • advanced degree.
  • * Experience working with media and marketing measurement solutions and
  • approaches, including Media Mix Modeling, incrementality studies and brand
  • measurement.
  • * Experience collaborating with media agencies across various departments,
  • including communications planning and strategy, AV, and digital teams.
  • * Experience building relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., internal
  • teams) and external partners (e.g., agencies, clients).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • * 6 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and
  • service partners at an executive level.
  • * 4 years of experience working in the Consumer Packed Goods industry or
  • product area.
  • * 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
  • * Experience in media sales or brand management.
  • * Experience in a leadership role.

  • As an Industry Manager, you will lead on one of the Retail team’s most
  • sophisticated, and significant customers. You will leverage your understanding
  • of the retail industry and Google's advertising solutions to help this client
  • achieve their business objectives and drive meaningful growth in the dynamic
  • digital landscape. You will require extensive experience of performance and
  • brand solutions and a developed understanding of the wider competitive
  • landscape. Furthermore, you will need exceptional influencing skills to navigate
  • a large business with various range of stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • * Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner
  • stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business
  • challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics. 
  • * Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and
  • lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and
  • drive client success.
  • * Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google
  • advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing
  • objectives. 
  • * Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative
  • recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify opportunities
  • with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • * Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can
  • be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
