If you're part way through your degree course and looking to spend a year in industry, a 12 month placement with Morrisons is a great way of learning by being hands-on and getting a head start in your planned post-graduate career. With a 110,000 strong team and hundreds of stores nationwide, it’s important that we keep our finances in check. That’s where you come in. Our Finance Industrial Placement is a 12-month placement based in the finance team at our Hilmore House head office in Bradford. It’s a chance to gain valuable experience of a finance department within one of the UK’s largest supermarkets. You’ll be analysing expenditure, providing insight on financial performance to non-finance stakeholders and dealing with month end close and balance sheet controls. You’ll also gain valuable stakeholder management, leadership and team working skills. Throughout the process you’ll have an excellent support network including a Buddy to help you settle into the role. This support will be useful when you start studying towards your CIMA qualification. We have a generous CIMA study support package and you’ll complete a number of certificate level papers during your placement year. About you ?
