  • The Team
  • You’ll join a collaborative and high-performing finance team, working closely with colleagues across the business, including finance, holidays, treasury, and the Group Head of Tax. Together, we ensure easyJet’s indirect tax affairs are expertly managed and fully optimised.
  • The Role

As Indirect Tax Manager, you’ll take ownership of the indirect tax affairs for the worldwide easyJet Group. You’ll

  • Manage and review all UK and European VAT, APD, Intrastat and EC Sales list returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Oversee indirect tax aspects of key accounting systems and processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency
  • Provide expert advice on indirect tax matters for business proposals, projects, M&A transactions and ad hoc queries
  • Identify opportunities to improve indirect tax cashflows and accounting impact
  • Lead the end-to-end management of external tax advisers and engagement with tax authorities, including audits and enquiries
  • Keep process notes up to date and ensure changes in legislation are incorporated into business practices
  • Collaborate closely with the wider finance team and external auditors to ensure seamless delivery and compliance
  • What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in UK and European indirect taxes
  • Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills
  • Educated to degree level with a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, CIMA or IIA) and at least 2 years PQE
  • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated experience of cross-functional working
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60%25 of our time per month in the office.
