  • 2x Full time, 1-year fixed term positions An excellent opportunity to join Inclusion & Disability Services and provide proactive student support Base Salary $112,628 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity As an Inclusion & Disability Services Officer, you will be the principal contact for students with disabilities seeking adjustments to enable their full participation in education. You will conduct assessments, make recommendations to staff, and coordinate the provision of tailored services and support. This position plays a vital role in promoting inclusion and accessibility across the University community. Your key responsibilities will be to: provide and coordinate inclusion and disability support services for individual students conduct formal assessments of students with disabilities to identify support requirements develop and process Academic Plans and strategies liaise with University staff and external providers to facilitate delivery of appropriate support maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with privacy legislation contribute to policy development and implementation of the University Disability Action Plan deliver training and resources to raise disability awareness among staff participate in professional development and maintain specialist knowledge in assistive technology. About you a bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, social sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience experience providing services to a diverse client group strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills ability to manage a demanding workload and meet deadlines knowledge of assistive technology and the higher education environment understanding of the needs of tertiary students with a disability competent computing and database management skills current Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.
