Job Role: Import Operator

Our client is seeking a talented and dedicated Import Operator to join their dynamic team within a global logistics provider. So what does the role look like?

• Manage and coordinate import operations from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and industry standards, while maintaining excellent relationships with customs authorities.
• Prepare and review import documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and facilitate smooth operations.
• Track shipments and provide updates to clients, ensuring transparency throughout the process.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.

So do you have what it takes?

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in import operations or a related logistics role.
• Strong understanding of import procedures, customs regulations, and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office applications.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and highly organised, with a proactive approach to managing tasks.
