About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Humanities Teacher to join our collaborative department. The successful candidate will be required to teach a combination of subjects, potentially including History, Geography, Religious Studies, and/or Philosophy, across key stages, fostering a lifelong interest in human culture and societal development.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across a range of Humanities subjects to students of varied ages and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely, constructive feedback to ensure all students reach their full potential.
- Contribute to the development and review of cross-curricular schemes of work that promote critical thinking and research skills.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages respectful debate, intellectual curiosity, and an appreciation for diverse perspectives.
- Participate actively in departmental and school-wide initiatives, including field trips and enrichment activities.
- Maintain thorough records of student achievement and communicate effectively with parents regarding progress.
What We're Looking For:
- A relevant degree in a Humanities subject (e.g., History, Geography, or Theology) and a recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching at least two Humanities subjects at the secondary level.
- Exceptional subject knowledge and the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and enthusiastically.
- The flexibility and skill to differentiate instruction effectively for a diverse student body.
- A strong commitment to integrating technology and innovative teaching practices into lessons.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A willingness to fully commit to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular contributions.
