Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a global manufacturing leader in Hereford who are seeking a HSE Manager. The role will lead the development and delivery of their HSE strategy. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across their high-risk manufacturing operations. Duties & responsibilities: Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of site HSE programs in line with corporate and regulatory requirementsProvide strategic and operational HSE guidance to site leadership, ensuring best practices and legal complianceDevelop and maintain ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certified management systemsCoordinate site audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring lessons learned and corrective actions are effectively implementedDrive cultural change and employee engagement in safety practices across all departmentsDeliver training and awareness programs to promote ownership of HSE responsibilitiesPrepare and present monthly performance reports to senior stakeholdersAct as the main liaison with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of all compliance documentation I'm keen to speak to Senior HSE Professionals with the following skillset: Minimum NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent postgraduate HSE qualificationChartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH)At least 5 years' experience in an HSE management role within a heavy industrial or high-risk manufacturing environmentIn-depth knowledge of UK EHS legislation, ISO 14001 & 45001 standards, and process safety principlesStrong leadership, communication, and people-management skillsAbility to influence at all levels, from shop floor to boardroom
