An exciting opportunity has become available to work within Human Resources, People department. The position is full-time (37 hours per week).

In this role, you will support all aspects of the delivery of the Workforce Strategy, working with the HR Business Partner, to ensure effective recruitment, resourcing and retention throughout Schools and the Council. You will deliver the full range of specialist HR support and professional advice to Services on all HR matters (including recruitment and selection, attendance management, redeployment, TUPE, dignity at work etc). This will involve all aspects of HR casework, including attending hearings (discipline, grievance, capability, etc) to advise manages and others to ensure good practice, legal requirements are met, and employees are managed in a fair and consistent way.

ABOUT YOU

You will:

  • Be a member of the CIPD
  • Post qualification experience of working in a HR setting providing advice and guidance across a range of HR activities
  • Underpinning knowledge of HR policies, procedures and processes and related practices
  • Be able to develop effective working relationships.
