Amore Group is a leading provider of health and social care services across the North West and Yorkshire. We’re looking for a strategic, adaptable HR Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the directors, line-managing the HR Assistant, and driving HR excellence across the organisation. This is a varied and highly impactful role – you will support all staff types (salaried, umbrella, annualised contracts) while shaping HR strategy, policies, and processes across the business. What you will do: Provide HR guidance across all divisions, supporting directors and managers on starters, leavers, probation, absence, flexible working, maternity/paternity, TUPE, and more.Lead employee relations casework, investigations, disciplinary processes, and safeguarding matters.Support staff working with clients with complex needs, ensuring HR practices promote safety, wellbeing, and compliance.Line-manage the HR Assistant, overseeing HR administration, onboarding, induction, exit interviews, and employee benefits (Sage).Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, supporting performance management and career development.Issue employment contracts, support PAYE transitions, payroll processes, and absence recording.Advise on change management, consultations, and organisational restructuring.Ensure compliance with CQC, Ofsted, and the organisation’s sponsorship license.Be proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused, responding to evolving business needs. What we are looking for: CIPD Level 5 qualified with experience in regulated health or social care environments.Proven experience in a senior HR role, including investigations, safeguarding, employee relations, and compliance.Strong knowledge of pay models, IR35, annualised contracts, payroll, HR systems, and employment law.Experience
