  • HR Manager (UK-Based)
  • The HR Manager is a true generalist, responsible for enabling and optimizing the full employee life cycle while driving a positive employee experience in all phases. Acting as a trusted HR Business Partner, this individual will be the first point of contact for employees and managers on all HR-related matters.
  • While the role has a strong focus on talent management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness, the HR Manager will collaborate closely with global HR colleagues to deliver consistent, best-in-class HR services, policies, and programs across the company.

This role is based in our UK head office in Central London and supports two client groups within the Global family of Cloud companies

  • CloudHQ UK: Global data center company partnering with the world’s largest technology companies to provide reliable and secure power and operating infrastructure (employee base in the UK).
  • CloudCapital: Global, specialized data center investment management firm dedicated to acquiring, managing, and operating world-class data centers (employee base in the UK & US).

The successful candidate will adapt smoothly and quickly in a multicultural, entrepreneurial environment, supporting HR Operations as well as compliance and administrative requirements across both UK and US markets.

  • What You Will Be Doing
  • Act as the primary HR contact and business partner for assigned client groups across the UK and US.
  • Partner with leaders to understand business objectives and provide HR solutions that support performance, growth, and engagement.
  • Oversee the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance management, development, mobility, and offboarding.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of employee actions such as hires, transfers, pay and status changes, and terminations.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, performance issues, and policy interpretation, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
  • Support talent management processes including workforce planning, succession, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and internal policies across multiple jurisdictions (UK and US).
  • Collaborate with global HR team members to harmonize HR policies, programs, and systems worldwide—common where possible, different when necessary.
  • Deliver HR analytics and reporting (via the company’s HRIS) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Champion initiatives that strengthen company culture, engagement, and retention.
  • Manage social impact initiatives, including community outreach and ESG efforts as required.
  • Oversee delivery of local payroll and benefits in the UK with high accuracy and timeliness.
  • Participate in HR and business initiatives and projects regionally or globally as required.
  • What You Need to Thrive
  • Strong understanding of UK and US labor laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
  • High proficiency with HRIS systems (Paylocity experience a plus).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Solutions-focused mindset, desire to learn, and passion for delivering excellence in employee experience.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Self-motivated, ethical, and professional with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Sound decision-making skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels.
