  • Role Overview
  • The right candidate will have proven experience within the built environment. As our HR & L&D Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to both management and employees, combining strategic HR expertise with a strong focus on learning and development. In this role, you will shape and deliver people initiatives that align with our business goals, strengthen workforce capability, and enhance employee engagement across the Group.   • Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with management to provide expert support across employee relations, performance management, and HR policy.
  • Design and implement people and learning strategies that drive business objectives, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Lead on talent acquisition, working with hiring managers to identify needs, enhance our employer brand, and build talent pipelines.
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate training programmes that build capability, support progression, and prepare future leaders.
  • Monitor employee experience and engagement, introducing initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and wellbeing.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Support change management programmes, embedding a high-performance, learning-focused culture across the organisation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in Built Envinronment as an Business Partner or similar HR/ L&D role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in developing and executing HR strategies that drive organisational effectiveness.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CIPD) are a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess peopole related metrics and drive data-informed decisions.
