HR Assistant – 12 Month FTC This is a fantastic opportunity to join a top US law firm as a HR Assistant on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. Salary £35,000Generous holiday allowanceFantastic employee wellbeing packagesMonthly gym membership reimbursementsEmployee fertility treatments09:30-17:30 (Monday-Friday)Hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days WFH) Key Responsibilities of the HR Assistant: Lead and coordinate all work experience and internship applicationsSupport with the preparation of HR documentation e.g. probation lettersAdminister the new joiner life cycle i.e. issue contracts of employment, on-board new joiners to the HR system, initiate background checks and visa sponsorships, arrange new joiner induction meetings, and prepare schedulesConduct Right to Work and Conflicts Checks and flagging any discrepancies to the Senior HR ManagerTake ownership of new joiner trackers and checklists for associates, trainees, and business services staffCoordinate leaver administration including conducting business services staff exit interviews where appropriateAssist with filtering trainee applications and assist with setting up trainee interviewsAttending Law Fairs and Graduate Recruitment Events, ordering, and designing branded merchandise for marketing Skills & Requirements of the HR Assistant: 1-2 years of experience working within HRExperience working in a Law Firm or other professional services
