HR and Payroll Administrator Location: Sheffield, S1 / Hybrid working (at least one day in the office per week) Hours: 37 hours per weekPay: £13.69 per hour PAYE Join our client, a leading local authority in Sheffield an HR and Payroll Administrator, where you will provide efficient, accurate, and customer-focused HR and payroll administration supporting the end-to-end employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who is proficient in using HR/Payroll systems and spreadsheets, including VLOOKUPs, and is committed to ensuring data quality, compliance, and timely service delivery. Day-to-day of the role: HR & Payroll Processing: Input, update, verify, and maintain employee records using HR/Payroll systems.Accurately update pay elements such as allowances, deductions, and overtime within payroll deadlines.Maintain and update establishment structure changes ensuring data integrity. Recruitment Administration: Manage the entire recruitment process from role approval to offer, including advert placements and interview scheduling.Administer DBS processing, verify identity and right-to-work documents, and track outcomes. Contracts & Letters: Produce and issue contract letters and employment variation letters in alignment with policies and statutory requirements. Data Management & Reporting: Utilize spreadsheets for data management including imports/exports, reconciliations, and quality assurance checks.Produce routine and ad-hoc reports for management. Pensions & Retirement: Provide retirement quotes and liaise with the Pensions Team/Provider as required. Custo
