  • A great opportunity is available for a confident, people‑focused HR Advisor to join our on‑site team, supporting around 148 employees and playing a key role in delivering a smooth, engaging, and well‑run HR service. This role is perfect for someone with CIPD Level 3 who is ready to grow and work towards CIPD Level 5, with full support provided.
  • You will be a visible, trusted presence on site, supporting employees and managers while ensuring key HR processes are delivered accurately and on time. You will also work closely with the HR Manager, providing support across a range of tasks and contributing to project work that helps shape the future of the site.
  • Responsibilities
  • Completing weekly Time & Attendance checks and preparing monthly payroll submissions and reports for the central payroll team
  • Supporting the HR Manager with day‑to‑day tasks and contributing to project work as required
  • Providing first‑line HR advice on absence management and general ER queries
  • Managing HR administration, including letters, documentation, and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting new starter inductions, probation reviews, and the annual pay review process
  • Leading on employee engagement initiatives to help build a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • Being an active, approachable HR presence on site, building strong relationships with employees and managers
  • Qualifications
  • CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent) with the ambition to progress to Level 5
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working to tight deadlines, especially around payroll
  • A friendly, approachable style with the ability to build trust quickly
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
  • A hands‑on, people‑first approach, comfortable being out on the shop floor
