HR Advisor, 6 Month FTC, Manchester (Hybrid Working), £40,000 Per AnnumMacmillan Davies are working on behalf of a leading global law firm who are looking to attract a HR Advisor to join their growing HR team in Manchester on a 6 Month FTC. This role sits within the HR Business Partnering team and involves working closely with colleagues across HR and with key stakeholders throughout the business. Main duties include: Business partnering and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholdersProviding timely, pragmatic HR advice as requiredSupporting HR Managers in developing people initiativesIdentifying and driving improvements to HR processesSupporting workforce planning alongside the Resourcing teamAssisting with vacancy approvals, selection processes and offer managementSupporting new joiners, leavers, secondments and apprenticesConducting exit interviews and providing management informationSupporting disciplinary, grievance, absence and wellbeing casesProviding benefits advice and managing maternity, parental leave and flexible working requestsEnsuring accurate documentation and timely referralsSupporting performance review processes and development planningAssisting with annual salary review processesProducing MI and monthly reportsSupporting firm-wide surveysLeading or contributing to HR projects as required The ideal candidate will have: Part or fully CIPD qualified a plus, but not essential.Solid generalist HR experience within ideally a professional services environment.Able to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong influencing skills with senior stakeholders and excellent communication.Highly computer literate, with advanced Excel skills.
