This is not simply a job, but a chance to become part of the living heritage of one of Scotland’s most iconic and breathtaking estates.About the RoleThe role is centred around the care, presentation and preservation of the castle, ensuring that it maintains its current 5 visitor experience. Standards are exceptionally high, but training will be provided by the castle’s Custodian, supported by the current Housekeeper, who has loyally served the estate for 58 years. Her knowledge is unparalleled, her skills remarkable, and she is ready to hand over the reins to the right person who shows commitment, warmth, and a willingness to immerse themselves fully in castle life.Because the castle is both a home and a historic treasure, the housekeeping is varied and seasonal.
