This position offers an immediate start and involves administering the Household Support Fund Top-up scheme. You will play a crucial role in helping residents access vital financial support by assessing applications, providing income and budgeting advice, and signposting to relevant support services. Day-to-day of the role: Assess grant applications quickly and accurately to deliver immediate financial assistance while driving lasting positive change.Provide tailored advice on benefits, budgeting, and income maximisation.Signpost residents to debt advice and other essential support services.Reduce arrears and recovery actions through early engagement and sustainable repayment plans.Manage a caseload independently, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong knowledge of benefits, housing, or debt advice.Proven experience in customer-facing roles (phone, email, or face-to-face).Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage a caseload independently and work under pressure.Experience in handling sensitive information with discretion and in accordance with data protection regulations.
