We are seeking a Host / Hostess to become the welcoming face of our luxury Japanese–Peruvian restaurant and bar in Chester. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in setting the tone for their entire dining experience — from arrival to farewell.

The Role

• Welcome guests with confidence, warmth, and professionalism, ensuring an exceptional first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating plans to maintain smooth service flow and maximise table turns.
• Liaise closely with the management and Front of House teams to enhance the overall guest journey.
• Maintain a polished appearance in line with the restaurant’s luxury brand standards.
• Confidently answer guest questions regarding the menu, events, and promotions.
• Support the Front of House team with guest requests and occasional service assistance when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Host / Hostess or in a customer-facing role (hospitality experience is desirable but not essential).
• A confident, friendly, and approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as part of a rota.

Job Type: Part-time
