• Job Description
• We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Carer - Care Assistant to join our team for early morning visits in Hinckley, Burbage, and Nuneaton. As a vital member of our care team, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare nutritious meals when necessary
• Administer medication as per care plans and maintain accurate records
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any concerns to the care coordinator
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Respect clients' privacy, dignity, and cultural preferences at all times
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Qualifications
• Genuine passion for caring for others and making a positive impact on their lives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time-keeping abilities and reliability, especially for early morning shifts
• Basic knowledge and understanding of common health conditions in elderly care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in care work is preferred but not essential
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle may be required due to the nature of the role (essential)
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts in Hinckley, Burbage, and Nuneaton areas
