Not to worry – Home Instead Hemel Hempstead and Chilterns are looking for dedicated, reliable and honest people with a kind nature and will provide full training!Job DescriptionYour responsibilities as a Care Assistant include but are not restricted to:Stimulate and encourage through a variety of activities (for example clothing selection, hobbies and crafts.)Providing emotional support and companionshipAssisting clients with personal care tasks such as grooming, dressing, and bathingSupporting clients with mobilityHelping with daily activities such as meal preparation and medication remindersRunning errands such as food shopping and collecting prescriptionsPerforming light house keeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms/kitchens, washing and ironing taking out rubbish, caring for house plants etc.)Each client visit will last no less than 1 hour. If you are passionate about providing high-quality care and making a difference to people’s lives, we can’t wait to hear from you.QualificationsPrevious social care isn't vital but full right to work in the UK and access to your own vehicle is essential. We understand a work life balance is key to a great working environment, so we offer a range of shifts timings throughout mornings, evenings and weekends suitable to for all lifestyles. Night shifts and Live In Carer opportunities also available.Additional InformationSubject to compliance checks (including criminal record and any unspent convictions) and reference checks to be carried out.Apply now to our ever-expanding team!
