I’m looking for help finalizing a smart automation setup. Here’s what I already have in place: • Reolink IP cameras and smart locks are active on my office network. • A mini PC will run Home Assistant as the hub. • A separate Mac Mini at home runs AI models (e.g. people detection, alerts). What I need you to help me with: • Set up and configure Home Assistant on the office mini PC • Integrate the Reolink cameras and smart locks • Set up secure, remote communication (VPN or equivalent) between the mini PC and Mac Mini • Create automations based on AI triggers (e.g. alerts when someone is detected or a door is left open) • Optional: teach me how to update and maintain the system securely Let me know if you’ve worked on a setup like this.
