We are seeking a motivated and committed History Teacher to join a secondary school working 3 days a week on an ongoing, long-term temporary basis starting in November 2025.

Duties as History Teacher:

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.

• Support the wider work of the humanities department and contribute to school life.

• Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour, achievement and progress.

Ideal History Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching History at secondary level.

• Strong subject knowledge and passion for the subject.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a History Teacher.

• Ability to inspire and engage learners of all abilities.
