Operating as a true "one-stop" development transport solution, our client supports a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients-including nationally recognised commercial developers-delivering high-quality highways, transport planning, drainage, and environmental engineering services across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Highway Design Engineer or Senior Highway Design Engineer to join their established team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of S278 and S38 schemes, contribute to complex multi-office projects, and play an integral role in the delivery of sustainable transport infrastructure. Role Responsibilities Prepare and deliver highway design packages within agreed timescales and budgets. Plan and manage project resources to ensure efficient team utilisation. Support senior leadership on multi-office and multidisciplinary project delivery. Ensure compliance with statutory design standards and relevant authority guidance. Produce, check, and approve technical drawings, reports, and design information. Work in accordance with MCHW, DMRB, and local authority design standards.
