HGV Class 2 Driver – Birmingham, West Midlands People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Birmingham, West Midlands. Shifts • Monday to Saturday• AM starts between 07:00 – 10:00 Rates of Pay • £16.00 per hour Benefits Your benefits as an HGV Class 2 Driver will be: • Excellent hourly rates• Ongoing work• Weekly pay• On-site canteen• Training provided• Immediate starts• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Carrying out RDC or brewery deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required)• Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections• Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly• Adhering to traffic laws and transport regulations• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management• Assisting with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need: • Valid UK Category C driving licence• Minimum of 24 months’ experience driving Category C vehicles• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements)• Valid UK CPC card and Digital Tachograph card• Good spoken and written English• Excellent punctuality an
