HGV Class 2 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Dudley, West Midlands. Shifts:• Monday to Friday• 05:00am start times Rates of Pay:• £14.00 per hour Benefits:• Excellent hourly rates• Ongoing and consistent work• Weekly pay• Immediate starts available• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties:• Carry out multi-drop deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service• Operate and drive HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections• Ensure all loads are securely fastened and transported safely• Deliver to customer locations with both mechanical and manual offloading as required• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly• Flexibility is essential, as early morning starts are a key part of the role Essential Skills:• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence• Minimum of 12 months’ experience driving Category C vehicles• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• No more than six points for minor offences (no major endorsements)• Good understanding of UK road transport laws and safety regulations• Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and communication skills Desirable Experience:• Forklift or Combi-lift licence advantageous• Previous multi-drop delivery experience beneficial Training Provided:• Full industry-related train
