HGV Class 2 Driver – St Helens People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in St Helens, Merseyside. Shifts • Rotating shifts across Monday to Sunday• 08:00 starts Rates of Pay • £15.42 per hour (standard hours up to 40)• £23.13 per hour (overtime over 40 hours Monday to Friday)• £23.13 per hour (Saturday)• £30.84 per hour (Sunday) Benefits • Ongoing position with a leading company in the industry• Thorough first-day assessment and training as required• Competitive rates of pay• Weekly pay• Supportive transport and operations team Day-to-Day Duties • Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently• Completing 6–10 residential deliveries per day across the North West• Using tail lifts for deliveries as required• Handball and unloading as required• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point• Reporting any delivery issues or customer concerns promptly to management Essential Skills • Minimum of 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience• Valid UK Category C driving licence• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 codes)• Strong communication and customer service skills• Reliable and professional approach to work Desirable Experience • Previous experience completing Class 2 deliveries Training Provided • First-day site assessment• Full industry-related training and ongoing sup
