We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team. Shifts: Shifts across Monday to Sunday (weekends included on a rota basis) Hours: Days and nights Pay Rate: Days- Monday to Friday - £16.00 per hour PAYENights -Monday to Friday - £17.00 per hour PAYE rising to £17.50 after 12 weeksDays & Nights - Saturday - £18.50 per hour PAYEDays & Nights - Sunday - £21.50 per hour PAYEBank Holiday Days - £21.50 per hour PAYE rising to £32.00 after 12 weeksBank Holiday Nights - £21.50 per hour PAYE rising to £34.50 after 12 weeks Location: Nottingham, NG6 Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate. The role: Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance, weekends included and requiredSecurely moving and transporting premium and high value goods (parcels) to sub-depots or collecting them from delivery units.Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork throughout shift.Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).Minimum of 6 months experience required.Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).Full understanding of WTD legislation.Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.Excellent communication skills.A safety-first mindset.
