People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Tamworth area.This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, stability, and ongoing development within a professional working environment. Shifts: Monday – Friday | Start Times Between 03:00 and 07:00 (flexibility required)Pay Rate: £17.00 – £25.18 per hour Why Work With This Client? Excellent hourly rates Ongoing, reliable work Weekly pay Paid training and induction Supportive transport team and great facilities Rates of Pay Basic: £17.00 per hour Saturday: £19.14 per hour Sunday: £25.18 per hour Day-to-Day Duties Carry out 2–3 depot-to-depot trunking runs per shift (no handball – curtain-sider work) Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Complete daily vehicle checks before and after each shift Ensure all loads are secure and comply with transport regulations Communicate effectively with the transport office and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly Essential Skills Valid UK Category C+E Licence Minimum 12 months’ experience driving C+E vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements) Valid UK CPC Card and Digital
