We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support in a care home setting.The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to delivering high-quality care, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.DutiesSupport client with daily living activities, possibly mobility.Support the implementation of care plans tailored to each individual's needs.Monitor and report changes in client's health and well-being to nursing staff.Maintain a clean and safe environment for resident.Engage in meaningful conversations and activities with resident to enhance their quality of life.Have knowledge of Computers/Super Heroes/Gaming/Comic Con and or want to learn about these activities.Support client to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.QualificationsPrevious experience in a supported living, care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills.Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting tasks.A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting residents when necessary.A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
