• Keevil Church of England Academy is a welcoming and caring primary school, educating children between the ages of 5 and 11 years. Situated in the picturesque village of Keevil, Wiltshire, we are proud to have strong links with our local community and St Leonard’s Church. All about the role

• Keevil Church of England Academy and the Acorn Education Trust are seeking to appoint an inspirational and driven Headteacher for this nurturing, inclusive and hardworking school, with effect from September 2026.
• This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing senior leader to build on the many established strengths of this village school, leading its enthusiastic and dedicated staff towards further enhancement of the school’s offer.
• We would like to hear from you if you feel you can strengthen our academic standards while retaining the distinctive Christian identity of our school.

We are looking for someone with

• The drive, vision and ambition to achieve excellence for all our pupils;
• An excellent understanding of teaching and learning;
• Proven leadership qualities and the ability to challenge, inspire and motivate colleagues
• A proven record as an imaginative, innovative, resourceful and decisive leader;
• An understanding of the current educational climate;
• A desire to work within the Multi Academy Trust structure and as a result very strong support from an executive Head;
• A strong Christian ethos.
