Head of Transition North West and Wales Competitive salary and Benefits Responsible for leading all operational aspects of and assisting the transition of the business through franchising in the region. Responsibilities: • Previous experience of working in Franchising is essential, ideally in the public transport sector. • The role will involve working closely with the relevant management teams across the business to ensure a seamless transition during periods of change. • You will need to have strong leadership skills to manage and motivate your team throughout this challenging period. • Communication will be key in this role; you will need to keep stakeholders up-to-date on progress and address any concerns they may have. • Ensuring minimal disruption to our services will also be a top priority, so you will need to think creatively to find solutions to any problems that arise. • Managing risk and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations will also form part of the role. • Report writing will be required along with preparing for presentations to senior management. Experience and qualifications desired: • This role requires experience of managing people and projects, ideally within the transport industry. • Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, both written and verbal. • A background in operations or project management would be beneficial but not essential. • A degree in Business Administration or similar would also be advantageous. • Experience in delivering high quality customer service would be desirable. • Confidence in dealing with Senior Management and being able to influence decision making processes is essential. • A full driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role.
