  • About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 14 Head of Technical Product – Financial Risk Analytics The Head of Technical Product Management will lead the technical product strategy and execution for market risk and counterparty credit risk solutions within the Financial Risk Analytics business. This role focuses on ensuring the technical feasibility, scalability, and performance of products while aligning with business objectives. The position requires close collaboration with Technology, Quant, and Architecture teams to translate complex technical requirements into actionable roadmaps and deliver robust, cloud-native solutions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the CPO to define and own the technical product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies Support the CPO being a local counterpart, helping mentoring the product team Lead a team of product analysts responsible for bridging business needs and technical implementation Partner with product owners and the CPO to find solutions benefiting all products and platforms, and to optimize the design of features in accordance to the strategic product architecture Partner with engineering and operational teams to validate technical designs, resolve delivery challenges, and ensure system integrity Drive adoption of modern technology practices (cloud-native, microservices, APIs) across the product portfolio Conduct technical risk assessments and ensure compliance with security and performance standards Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize technical enablers alongside business features Improve technical governance, release predictability, and communication of technical dependencies Support client-facing teams with technical expertise during demos and roadmap discussions Success Metrics Reduction in technical debt and improved system performance Predictable delivery of technically complex features Increased adoption of modern technology frameworks Improved collaboration between product and engineering teams Enhanced client confidence in technical robustness Skills & Behaviours Highly collaborative and able to influence without full authority Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management capability Analytical thinker with strong prioritization and decision-making skills Able to operate in transformation environments with evolving processes Commercially aware and focused on customer outcomes Experience & Knowledge 15+ years in technical product management or related roles in financial technology Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, and SaaS delivery models Knowledge of market risk, portfolio analytics, or counterparty credit risk domains Strong familiarity with analytics platforms and technical integration challenges between analytics, data and infrastructure Proven ability to lead technical product teams, mentor across product and engineering, and influence engineering decisions Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in relevant field a plus About S&P Global Market Intelligence At S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global we understand the importance of accurate, deep and insightful information.
